The Yezz Andy 5E LTE operates on GSM, HSPA, and LTE networks. It supports various bands, including GSM 850/1800/1900 for 2G, HSDPA 850/1900 for 3G, and LTE 700/1800/1900 for 4G. The device offers a download speed of up to 150 Mbps and an upload speed of 50 Mbps, thanks to LTE Cat4 technology.
Announced in September 2015, the Yezz Andy 5E LTE was released in November of the same year. This device, however, has been discontinued and is no longer in production.
The smartphone features dimensions of 143.7 x 72.8 x 9.4 mm and weighs 158 grams. It supports dual SIM functionality with Mini-SIM and Micro-SIM slots. Its ergonomic design ensures comfortable handling despite its size and weight.
It comes with a 5.0-inch TFT display, offering a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. With a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 65.9% and a pixel density of 196 ppi, the display is modest, providing reasonable clarity for basic tasks and media consumption.
Powered by the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, the Yezz Andy 5E LTE is equipped with a Mediatek MT6735M chipset built on 28nm technology. It houses a Quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T720MP2 GPU. While performance is suited for daily tasks, heavy applications and multitasking could potentially challenge its abilities due to its limited processing power.
Featuring 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, the device meets minimal requirements for running an Android system. It also includes a dedicated microSDXC card slot, allowing users to expand storage according to their needs, which is essential given the limited internal capacity.
The main camera of the device is an 8 MP sensor with autofocus, supported by an LED flash and HDR capabilities. It is capable of recording video. For selfies, the phone includes a 2 MP front-facing camera, suitable for video calls and basic photography.
The device is equipped with a loudspeaker and supports a 3.5mm audio jack, maintaining compatibility with a wide range of audio accessories.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with hotspot capability, Bluetooth 4.0 with LE support, GPS for location services, and microUSB 2.0 for data transfer and charging. However, NFC is not supported. The phone also features a Stereo FM radio, providing entertainment on the go.
The Yezz Andy 5E LTE comes with basic sensors like the accelerometer and proximity sensor. While the feature set is minimal, it covers essential functionalities for everyday use.
Equipped with a removable Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery, the device offers a standby time of up to 300 hours and a talk time of up to 12 hours on 3G networks. The removable nature of the battery provides convenience for replacements or carrying a spare.
When it was available in the market, the Yezz Andy 5E LTE came in classic color choices: black and white, catering to different aesthetic preferences.
